The EC Sand Sculptures has been inextricably linked with Zandvoort aan Zee for several years now. It started in 2011 when the National Championships were held in Zandvoort, which turned into a European Championship the next year. This year marks the fourth subsequent EC Sand Sculptures in Zandvoort aan Zee.
This year, since it has been 125 years since Vincent van Gogh’s death, the theme of the competition is “Van Gogh and his contemporaries”. All sculptures will be based around this theme. More info
