Zandvoort aan Zee – Amsterdam

Zandvoort aan Zee has a direct train link to Amsterdam. In less than 30 minutes you can go from the beach to Amsterdam Central Station, which means you can lie on the beach in the sun and still go and visit the special sights and museums of the capital.


Zandvoort aan Zee – Haarlem

Have you had your fill of sea air? Breathe in some culture in Haarlem! By train or by car it will only take you 15 minutes to get to that beautiful old town. Why not see the sights on a canal boat? You can of course buy your tickets at the Zandvoort Tourist Information.


Bloemendaal

Woods, dunes, beach and exclusive residential areas together form the municipality Bloemendaal. The divisions Bloemendaal, Overveen, Aerdenhout, Bennebroek and Vogelenzang all have their own character and the beach of Bloemendaal aan Zee can be called a trendy hot spot.


Keukenhof

From the end of March to half of May the most beautiful spring garden in Europe will be open again: the Keukenhof. This breathtaking flower garden is only a 45 minute bike ride away, through the flowering bulb fields. You can of course buy your entrance tickets at the Zandvoort Tourist Information!


Speeltuin Groenendaal

Whitin 15 minutes by car from Zandvoort, you find the Groenendaalse Bos and playground Groenendaal. With many attractions kids can play for hours!


Linnaeushof

Only a fifteen minute drive away from Zandvoort aan Zee you will find the largest family playground in Europe. From the end of March, your children can go wild on the 350 features and attractions. Buy your entrance ticket in advance at the Zandvoort Tourist Information.


The Zaanse Schans

Typically Dutch windmills, barns and museums. Everything built in the special "Zaanse" wooden architectural style. There is so much to see, taste and do there!


Cheese market Alkmaar

Thousands of tourists from all over the world come to Alkmaar to see the cheese market. A whole square filled with 'cheese carriers', an impressive sight! Every Friday morning, from the beginning of April to the beginning of September.


Amsterdam Metropolitan Area

The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area offers seventeen characteristic areas with a wealth of flowers, beaches, lakes, windmills and historic towns and fishing villages. All of these attractions are within reach of Zandvoort, using public transportation.
